Co-founder and Partner of India’s hottest influencing platform, The Corner Room Project, Founder & President of luxury consulting outfit, The Horologists and former Publisher and President of the Chitralekha Group, Mitrajit is among the longest serving publishers in Indian media and among the most influential commentators in the world of horology. He has written more than 400 articles in various publications and authored two books titled Life Money Can’t Buy and Grand Hours. When not delving into the complex world of mechanical watchmaking, he is enjoying the good life thrown around this fascinating industry and meeting eminent personalities like John Travolta, Buzz Aldrin, Leonardo DiCaprio and Salma Hayek to name a few.
The scope of his Day Job, as he calls his publishing responsibility, he quit in 2018. Since January 2001, as the person spearheading ad revenues and since February 2005 as the President & Publisher of the Chitralekha Group, he had taken the group into many new verticals.
Not shirking from taking industry initiatives, he has donned the role of President (Immediate Past) of Association of Indian Magazines- the nodal body of magazines in India and currently sits on the executive committees of the Advertising Club, Mumbai and IAA India Chapter. He has served as jury and jury chair in most advertising and media awards including the Abbys (held during Goafest).
He has struck numerous brand deals with big-budget Bollywood movies and is associated with many producers as a consultant on various production related activities.
